About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ADABAS Database Specialist to join our team at the Department of Corporate and Digital Development NT. As a key member of our HR Systems team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining ADABAS databases, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and system integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain ADABAS databases, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and system integrity.
  • Provide expert support for CICS online and batch processing environments.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify, diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to efficient system operations and provide expertise in CICS online and batch processing environments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Expert knowledge of ADABAS/Natural applications and Software AG products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of $150,506 - $167,941, 11.5% superannuation, 6 weeks recreation leave, 3 weeks personal leave, paid Christmas closedown leave, 17.5% annual leave loading, flexible working agreements, and a supportive leadership team and peer group.
