Abuse Law Specialist

This position is ideal for a skilled and compassionate professional who wants to make a meaningful impact in the field of Abuse Law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle client enquiries and transfer calls as needed, providing timely updates and information to clients while managing expectations.
  • Manage client files from open to close, ensuring all relevant documents are up-to-date and organized.
  • Prepare and send correspondence to clients, including bills and other relevant materials.
  • Liaise with Courts, barristers, defendant solicitors, and doctors to progress cases efficiently.
  • Arrange diaries, appointments, and meetings, ensuring smooth communication between stakeholders.
  • Action incoming mail and update case files accordingly.
Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a similar role, preferably in Personal Injuries.
  • Compassionate, resilient, and mature to handle sensitive work, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work under pressure, with autonomy and teamwork capabilities.
  • Enthusiasm and initiative, with confidence in fast-paced environments.
  • High attention to detail and excellent communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).
  • Able to escalate issues to Supervisor, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
