Senior Indigenous Inclusion Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Indigenous Inclusion Specialist to lead initiatives that promote Indigenous inclusion and capability across our Australian operations. The successful candidate will work closely with our people and partner with community teams to connect with Traditional Owners and local communities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver programs that attract, retain, and support Indigenous talent
  • Promote cultural awareness by facilitating training and embedding Indigenous perspectives into policies and practices
  • Partner with internal teams and leaders to embed inclusion into everyday practices
  • Support leadership development by creating opportunities for Indigenous employees to grow into leadership roles
  • Monitor outcomes and ensure alignment with legal, cultural, and native title obligations

Requirements
  • Experience developing and delivering programs that create real impact, especially in inclusion, capability building, or employee engagement
  • Strong connections to Indigenous communities, cultural knowledge, or lived experience that informs your approach and builds trust
  • Practical experience working in mining, community engagement, or inclusion-focused roles
  • A strong ability to connect, build relationships, and foster respect
  • A genuine commitment to creating spaces where Indigenous voices are heard, valued, and empowered
  • Formal qualifications in Indigenous Studies, Social Sciences, Human Resources, or related fields are valued but not essential
