About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Leisure and Hospitality Operations Manager. Located in the beautiful Hunter Valley Hinterland, this key role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of managing the resort.
In this challenging and rewarding position, you will utilize your extensive experience, initiative, drive, and strategic approach to deliver exceptional results for our guests. You will have previous hotel management experience, along with a passion for leading from the front and empowering your team to succeed.
We are looking for a positive leader with high standards and the ability to develop an experienced team to run the business at its optimum efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day profitability, presentation, and operation of the entire property
- Develop and implement strategic revenue plans for the business
- Identify key areas for improvement across the business, developing strategic procedures for improvement
- Manage, lead, and motivate staff to ensure a high-performing team culture is maintained
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Business Management
Extensive operational and financial management experience within a hotel
Demonstrated strategic and operational leadership experience, with the ability to drive a culture of accountability and promote staff engagement
A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards while maximizing revenue and minimizing expenses
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with guests, owners, and staff
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning
A positive and energetic attitude
An infectious passion for delivering a memorable guest experience and creating loyalty among guests
