Cybersecurity Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in our systems and applications, helping to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- IDentify and assess potential security threats to our systems and applications
- Develop and implement effective security measures to mitigate these risks
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of cybersecurity professionals who are passionate about ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's IT infrastructure.
You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that all software applications are secure and compliant with industry standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
You will also need to have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
The estimated salary for this role is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in a Security Testing role, including experience in each of a Penetration Testing and Application Security / Source Code Review role
- Demonstratable experience in a software development role
- Strong communication and English language skills, including experience in communicating technical outcomes to a non-technical audience
- Experience and exposure to a variety of software delivery models, including DevOps and Waterfall
- Experience in developing security policy, standards, and development guidelines
- Experience in training and developing people
- Significant experience in other domain areas of Cyber Security
- A strong understanding of adjacent security dependencies including endpoints, application platforms, databases, network security technologies, development frameworks
- Current industry certification, including but not limited to:Offensive Security – OSCP, OSCE3, OSWE, HTB Academy – CTPS, CWEE, CREST – Certified Level qualifications (CCT, CCSC, CCSAS, CCSAM)
