About the Role:
We are seeking an expert to develop medium to long term mine designs and schedules at our Coppabella-Moorvale Joint Venture located near Moranbah.
Main Duties:
- Establish strong relationships with stakeholders to maximise operational productivity and utilisation of equipment in schedules.
- Prepare and communicate site physicals for annual forecasting and monthly planning processes.
- Provide rolling forecasts and budgets for the operation.
- Maintain effective communication with technical services, CHPP, maintenance and mine operations personnel.
- Support and mentor other team members as required.
- Ensure designs/schedules comply with safety requirements and legislation.
- Actively report hazards and incidents.

This position is offered on a 9-day fortnight schedule with flexibility for residential or FIFO arrangements.

About You:
You will have experience in a similar role with demonstrated expertise as a Mining Engineer and significant site experience in mine scheduling and design.
