About the Role:

We are seeking a professional to develop mine designs and schedules at our Coppabella-Moorvale Joint Venture near Moranbah.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Building relationships with stakeholders to maximize operational productivity and equipment utilization.
  • Preparing site physicals for annual forecasts and budgets.
  • Providing detailed rolling medium-term forecasts and budgets for the operation.
  • Communicating effectively with technical services, maintenance, and mine operations personnel.
  • Supporting and mentoring other members of the technical services team as required.
  • Ensuring designs/schedules comply with safety requirements and legislation.
  • Reporting hazards and incidents.
  • Participating in safety investigations as required.

About You:

You will have experience in a similar role, ideally from within the resources sector.

  • Demonstrated experience as a Mining Engineer is essential.
  • Experience in a mine operation.
  • Proven site experience in mine scheduling and design.
  • Competent user of Vulcan, Deswik, Spry.
  • Experience contributing to Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Commitment to safety and the environment.
