About the Position:
">We are currently seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to join our team. This role is located at our Coppabella-Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV) near Moranbah.
">The main objective of this position is to develop medium to long term mine designs and schedules for CMJV.
">Key responsibilities will include:
">- ">
- Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to maximise operational productivity and equipment utilisation in schedules.">
- Preparation and communication of site physicals for annual budget and monthly forecast processes.">
- Providing detailed rolling medium term forecasts and budgets for the operation.">
- Communicating effectively with technical services, CHPP, maintenance and mine operations personnel in relation to deliverables for mid/long term schedules which would include; physical quantities, resource and utilisation requirements to deliver schedules and long term mine plans.">
- Assisting and mentoring other members of the technical services team as required.">
- Ensuring designs/schedules are compliant with site safety management systems and relevant statutory requirements.">

- Significant (~5yrs +) site experience in a mine operation, preferably in an open-cut coal mine.">
- Proven site experience in mine scheduling and design, along with associated tasks.">
- Competent user of Vulcan, Deswik, Spry software.">
- Demonstrated experience of contributing to Continuous Improvement initiatives.">
- Commitment to safety and the environment.">
