Aboriginal Justice Partnership Development Officer

The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a skilled Project Officer to play a critical role in the development and delivery of Phase 5 of the Victorian Aboriginal Justice Agreement.
As a key member of the Koori Justice Unit, you will assist in coordinating meetings, workshops, and engagement activities with government and community stakeholders. You will also be responsible for drafting, editing, and collating documents, including briefing notes, status updates, meeting papers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:- Assist in coordinating the planning, implementation, and delivery of activities to support the development and design of AJA5.
- Assist with project tracking, milestone monitoring, and internal reporting to support overall project implementation.
- Draft, edit, and collate documents for internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Aboriginal community, both society and culture, and the issues impacting it.
• A demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and work effectively with the Victorian Aboriginal community.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in law, public policy, Aboriginal affairs or similar (desired but not required).

• VPS Grade 4 salary ($97,955 - $111,142) plus superannuation.
• Fixed, full-time opportunity (12 months).
