Principal Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the design and survey team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects.

Job Summary:

  • Supervise a team of design engineers and provide guidance on complex design projects
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Develop and implement effective design solutions that meet customer needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage design teams to deliver high-quality results
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and customers
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with design projects

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree qualification in Civil Engineering
  • Registered Professional Engineers (RPEng) status
  • Minimum 15 years experience in civil infrastructure design, particularly roads, traffic management items, and drainage
  • Expertise in computer-aided design software, including Civil Site Design, AutoCAD, and other engineering software packages
