Job Description

The role will play a key part in delivering some of the City's most exciting projects.

  • Plan, procure and execute the delivery of community infrastructure projects.
  • Engage with stakeholders, manage consultants and contractors and work in a collaborative manner to achieve balanced outcomes on behalf of the organisation and Ballarat community.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate your ability to plan and prioritise projects within a set timeframe and work collaboratively with stakeholders and contractors to deliver desired outcomes.

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or extensive experience in the construction industry in a project management or contract supervisory role.
  • Experience in architectural design, construction or refurbishment of community infrastructure as a project manager or site supervisor/foreperson.
  • Recent experience liaising and managing contractors particularly with regard to quality assurance.
  • Experience interpreting drawings and plans.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to the position.
