Cloud Development Position

This role involves working on cloud-based digital solutions to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and platforms.

The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, testing, and deployment using Agile methodologies.

Secure coding practices are a must, and familiarity with Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) guidelines is highly desirable.

Candidates should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of digital solutions.

The successful applicant will contribute to Alpha and Beta phases of product development and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cloud-based digital solutions using modern technologies.
  • Support software development, testing, and deployment using Agile methodologies.
  • Implement secure coding practices in compliance with ACSC guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, UX designers, and DevOps engineers.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of digital solutions.
  • Assist in transitioning services to sustainment, defining SLAs for uptime, response times, and system performance.
  • Contribute to Alpha and Beta phases of product development and enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with TypeScript, front-end/back-end development, and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and OAuth.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Experience working in Agile teams and using CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
  • Prior experience in enterprise system development and government projects is highly preferred.
  • Baseline Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
