Job Description

We are seeking a permanent Part Time Therapeutic Residential Support Worker to join our team and support children with a disability living in out of home care.

This is a rewarding role in a supportive workplace with ongoing training and development opportunities.

  • Saturday: 9am-5pm (8 hrs)
  • Sunday: 5pm - 10pm (5 hrs)
  • Monday (Week 2): 7.30am - 10am (2.30 hrs)
  • Tuesday (Week 2): 7am-9am (2 hrs)
  • Wednesday (Week 2): 2.30pm-9pm (6.30 hrs)

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Fortnightly Team Meeting: 3 hrs

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A passion for supporting people to live their best lives
  • Highly developed problem solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • A current Victorian Drivers License
  • Victorian Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain one)
  • Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain one)
  • Full vaccination status

Applicants must be qualified or willing to enroll into a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and out of home care). Successful applicants requiring this qualification will be enrolled into the course by the Program Manager.
