We are seeking experienced Residential Aged Care Workers to join our team at Uniting Garden Suburb, a peaceful and welcoming aged care home nestled on the edge of a serene bushland reserve in the Lake Macquarie region of NSW.

About the Role:

We are looking for skilled individuals to provide care, companionship, and emotional support to residents in our Night Duty shifts. As a Residential Aged Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing daily living assistance, assisting with medication, and supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing daily living assistance with showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes, and general mobility
  • Assisting with medication and simple wound dressings
  • Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months residential aged care experience working night duty shifts
  • Qualifications in Aged Care or similar
  • Adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful with a commitment to Uniting's values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold
