Senior Rebate Management Professional

Contract opportunity for a skilled Claims Processing Specialist with experience in managing rebates and deals. This role will be based in Sydney, AU, with opportunities to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the entire claims processing lifecycle, from initial submission to final payment.
- Verify claims using approved deal conditions, sell-through data, and other relevant information.
- Enter payment data into the accounting system and generate credit notes once approved.
- Complete weekly journal entries into the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and business intelligence (BI) systems.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and reconcile data and transactions as required.
- Work closely with the Credit team to facilitate smooth claims processing.
- Assist the team in updating trade spend files and reconciling actual claims from customers.
- Follow established processes to ensure timely completion of customer claims and log issues for follow-up until resolved.
- Complete month-end journals and reporting requirements as necessary.
- Proven experience in claims processing and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
