Rebates and Claims Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Rebates and Claims professional to join our team on a 3-month contract basis.
This opportunity is based in Sydney, AU, with free on-site parking and close proximity to public transport.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage claims processing for rebates and deals, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Verify claims against approved deal conditions, sell-through, and other relevant data.
- Enter payment data into the AP system for cheque payments.
- Upload approved rebate data into the system, generating credit notes once processed.
- Prepare weekly journal entries for ERP and BI systems.
- Generate ad hoc reports and reconcile data and transactions as required.
- Collaborate closely with the Credit team to facilitate claims processing.
- Assist the team in updating trade spend files.
- Track actual claims from customers and reconcile to trade spend master files and accruals.
- Follow established processes to ensure completion of customer claims and log issues for follow-up until resolved.
- Complete month-end journals and reporting requirements.
- Entry-level position.
