Job Overview

This role is responsible for creating a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace environment.

The Director will oversee all aspects of workplace wellbeing across operations in Oceania, developing strategies that align with organisational vision, mission, and values.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Lead a team to monitor and report on performance, risks, and opportunities, driving positive change through SHE excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies and standards to drive workplace wellbeing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, promoting a culture of safety and respect.
  • Mentor and develop SHE professionals, enhancing the team's capacity to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in workplace wellbeing management, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expert knowledge of workplace wellbeing legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage audits, inspections, investigations, and incident response.
