Job Description

We are seeking a skilled steel fabrication specialist to join our team in Regents Park. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication procedures, as well as interpreting drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricating and welding products using various techniques
  • Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal from stock
  • Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
  • Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting
  • Examining welds for width, penetration and precision
  • Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiseling and grinding
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tig & MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Some experience in stainless steel and aluminum welding is an advantage
  • Welding certification or relevant experience
  • Current driver's license and reliable transport
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Motivated, reliable and take pride in workmanship
  • Strong safety-focused work ethic
  • Boilermaking experience is an advantage
