The Role
Ocean View Retirement Living is a lively community, perched on Sexton Hill, offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. As a Supportive Care Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional daily care services to residents, emphasizing their independence and overall well-being. You will thrive on building strong relationships with residents, their families, and your colleagues to ensure that care standards are consistently surpassed.
This position is a Permanent Part-time role on evening shifts. Week 1= Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Week 2= Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday.

Collaborate with a team to provide safe and effective daily personal care tailored to each resident's needs in accordance with their care plans. Ensure all residents receive compassionate, respectful personal care that promotes their choices and independence. Assist residents and the community with tasks such as medical and personal support, domestic cleaning, and general administrative duties. Support residents in engaging in recreational and social activities. Adhere to all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures, reporting any safety, security, or resident incidents. Be passionate, trustworthy, reliable, and enjoy connecting with residents, colleagues, and the broader community.What You Will Bring
Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Health Services Assistance (mandatory). Current First Aid & CPR certification (mandatory). Current Police Check clearance (mandatory, but we can assist with this). Up-to-date COVID-19 Vaccinations (mandatory).
