About the Role
Aveo is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Attendant to join our team at Ocean View Retirement Living. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality daily care services to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective daily personal care, tailored to the resident's care needs in line with their current care plans.
- Ensure all residents receive kind, caring and respectful personal care that supports their choice and independence.
- Assist residents with tasks including medical & personal support, domestic cleaning and general admin duties.
- Support residents with recreational and social activities.
- Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents.
Requirements
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required).
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate (required).
- Current Police Check clearance (required).
- Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up to date (required).
