About the Role

This role involves delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care to individuals and families in need. As a skilled counsellor, you will work collaboratively with clients to provide support, specialist group programs, and empower them to overcome difficulties and build resilience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human services, preferably with a tertiary qualification in psychology or counselling. They will also possess clinical membership of a relevant professional body, such as PACFA, and experience working with men and facilitating Men's Behaviour Change Programs.

  • Provide individual and group counselling services to clients experiencing domestic violence and other complex issues.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based, psycho-educational programs to promote positive change and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and meet client needs.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in human services, e.g., psychology or counselling.
  • Clinical membership of a relevant professional body, e.g., PACFA.
  • Experience working with men and facilitating Men's Behaviour Change Programs.
  • Expertise in individual and group counselling, trauma-informed practice, and domestic violence.
