Forensic Mental Health Program Lead

Job Description
This is a diverse and challenging role that requires strong leadership, management, and clinical expertise. As a Program Lead, you will be responsible for managing the implementation and operation of forensic mental health services across multiple sites.
About You
- You have a proven track record in providing strategic advice on service development and practice within complex organisational settings.
- You are able to provide high-level management, clinical, and forensic expertise to this program.
- You have a demonstrated ability to liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders to achieve service reputation and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the implementation and operation of forensic mental health services at multiple sites.
- Set service directions as part of the prison management team.
- Provide high-level advice to senior managers on emerging issues in forensic mental health within prison services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve service reputation and growth.
Requirements
- A postgraduate qualification in mental health nursing or occupational therapy, or an approved degree in social work.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).
