Holistic Social Work Services is currently seeking qualified Disability Support Workers for an immediate start in the southern suburbs of Adelaide.

We require individuals who can provide exceptional care and support to participants with various needs, including personal care, cooking, cleaning, reporting, case notes, house chores, activities of daily life, appointment arranging, and supporting participants to attend appointments.

Due to the nature of work with people with a disability, many of our clients have cognitive, speech, and language difficulties. Therefore, we require applicants to have excellent written and spoken English. A driving license and reliable car are also essential.

Experience in working with persons with mental health, addictions, and ASD would be beneficial. Our ideal candidate will possess a Certificate I - IV (preferred) and at least 1 year of experience in Disability Support Work (preferred). They must also hold a Police Check, Working with Children Check (preferred), NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred), Manual Handling (preferred), and a Driver License and roadworthy car.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to participants' needs
  • Provide personal care, cooking, and cleaning services
  • Prepare and maintain case notes and reports
  • Support participants to access the community
  • Assist with gardening and household tasks

Requirements:
