Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and team-oriented individual to join our operations team as a Yard Person/Driver. The role involves preparing, filling, and sorting industrial gas cylinders, delivering them to branches, depots, and customer sites in accordance with standard operating and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, filling, and sorting industrial gas cylinders
  • Delivering cylinders to branches, depots, and customer sites
  • Loading and unloading trucks with orders using a forklift
  • Ensuring all cylinders delivered and returned are correctly barcoded and scanned
  • General manual handling and maintenance
  • Completing paperwork and administrative tasks required for cylinder delivery procedures
  • Conducting maintenance and repairs on cylinders
  • Regular checks and maintenance of cylinder bar-coding
  • General housekeeping to maintain the stock yard's cleanliness

Requirements:

  • Current forklift license
  • Current HR License
  • Commitment to working safely and being accountable
  • Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Teamwork and computer literacy
