Industrial Gas Turbine Maintenance Specialist

MTU Maintenance Australia is seeking a skilled Industrial Gas Turbine Maintenance Specialist to carry out on-site assembly and disassembly of industrial gas turbines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance work, start-up of package after repair, remote monitoring, troubleshooting and diagnostics, assessment of asset performance, and providing technical customer support.
The successful candidate will have 4 years general training as an engine engineer, 2 years specific shop training on LM2500 and LM6000, long-standing experience in on-site maintenance and repair of LM2500/LM6000 industrial gas turbines, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Performing routine maintenance tasks on industrial gas turbines
- Carrying out repairs and replacements of turbine components
- Monitoring and troubleshooting issues with the turbines
- Providing technical support to customers and colleagues
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- 4 years general training as an engine engineer
- 2 years specific shop training on LM2500 and LM6000
- Long-standing experience in on-site maintenance and repair of LM2500/LM6000 industrial gas turbines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
