We are seeking a switched-on and dynamic person to join our Gas Inspection team as a Gas Utilisation Inspector. This is a full-time permanent role based in Jandakot.

**Your journey as a Gas Utilisation Inspector**:
Using your technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills, you will be responsible in leading and undertaking investigations, inspections and reporting on installations in line with the Gas Inspection program, to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and gas installation standards.

**Main duties and responsibilities**:
Maintains compliance to the ATCO Inspection Policy Statement and Plan;
- Conducting inspections/re-inspections on New and Additional Gasfitting Work (commercial and domestic) in accordance with performance standards.
- Issuing Notices of Defects to Gas Fitters, or Inspectors Orders to customers to address non-compliant gas installations, monitoring receipt of Notices of Rectification within specified timeframes, and actioning as required.
- Liaising with commercial and domestic customers to provide assistance and expert technical advice with design, fault finding and problem-solving issues as it relates to gas appliance installations.
- Leading investigations into gas related incidents and producing detailed reports on investigation outcomes.

**About you**:

- G Class Gas Fitting Permit
- Strong technical knowledge of gas industry regulations coupled with significant experience in commercial, and domestic gas appliance testing and fault finding. (Minimum 5yrs)
- Proven experience and proficiency in incident investigation and report writing, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Well-developed communication skills including the ability to influence and build and maintain networks with a range of stakeholders.
- C Class Drivers Licence.
