The Engineering Leadership role at our organization is pivotal in driving product development and innovation. Our Engineering Team works closely with Product Management and Data Science to build cutting-edge tools for real-time fraud detection using machine learning.
As a seasoned leader, you will oversee teams to deliver high-quality products, providing technical guidance and mentoring top-class engineers. You will also plan the execution of product development driven by the product management team.
This leadership position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to manage daily execution, performance, and career growth of one or two teams of engineers.
You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering successful technical projects, collaborating with key stakeholders across all groups within the Engineering and Product Teams.
Key responsibilities include managing teams, setting an example through technical execution, establishing credibility, and developing empowering engineering practices.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in leading teams and/or management, 6+ years of software development, and 4+ years in a SaaS environment supporting mission-critical services.
Expertise in cloud technologies, including AWS services, container orchestration, observability stacks, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated multi-environment deployments, is essential.
Preferred qualifications include experience in creating and operating Data Engineering projects or products, associated Data Engineering technologies, leadership skills, adaptability, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
