Job Title: Engineering Manager

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation and exceptional leadership abilities to lead our technology teams. As a Digital Bank, software engineering is at the core of what we do.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all technological aspects for your designated technology team.
  • Engineer processes such as system design, development, CI/CD, production support, continuous process improvement, strategy and roadmaps.
  • Cultivate an innovative culture that promotes lateral thinking and early risk identification.
  • Build a high-performing yet psychologically safe environment for Engineers and aspiring leaders in your teams.
  • Ensure high code quality, testing, and security standards are integral to the team's culture.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience managing software engineering teams in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Strong technical background in Java and open-source technologies.
  • Experience in cloud-based technologies, including SaaS, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with proven success at delivering complex engineering initiatives.
  • Critical thinker with solid understanding of how to build scalable, maintainable and performant software.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with product and technology stakeholders across the organisation.
