Job Overview

As a software development manager, you will be responsible for leading our engineering teams in developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining our products.

  • Establish engineering best practices to ensure the highest quality of work.
  • Identify gaps in processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Manage strategic projects to meet business objectives.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Lead one or more engineering teams in an agile environment.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Management to define objectives and prioritize backlogs.
  • Drive continuous improvement of development processes through collaboration with peers and architects.
  • Manage performance through goal setting, coaching, recognition, and feedback.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience managing software development teams in an agile setting.
  • Proven success in delivering large-scale projects from inception to release.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including design patterns, decoupled architectures, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Familiarity with modern software development technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence results.
