Warehouse Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and efficient Team Leader to oversee our fully automated warehouse in Huntingwood. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of up to 5 stores people to deliver operational excellence from all areas of warehouse and distribution including safety, receiving, reporting, inventory management and quality control. This is a permanent position on the night shift (11:10pm - 7:10am).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate and commit to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times.
  • Provide exceptional leadership and direction to staff to ensure KPI's are met and exceeded.
  • Manage staff issues including absenteeism and performance levels.
  • Assist with quality requirements by accurately inspecting and recording all inbound freight movements into the DC.
  • Control staff rosters and workload to meet and exceed customer requirements.
  • Liaise with transport providers and the greater warehouse team to ensure an accurate and efficient inbound process.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role with in warehousing or logistics.
  • Proven leadership capabilities including ability to effectively engage a team.
  • Extensive computer skills - Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills and effective negotiation abilities.
  • Exceptional relationship building with customers across all levels.
  • Understanding of SAP systems.
  • Current LF Lic (High Reach exp preferred).
