Clinical Data Manager

Join our organisation as a Clinical Coding Coordinator to support and supervise the clinical coding team, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all clinical coding activities.
">About The Role">The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, supporting, and supervising the clinical coding staff and their associated workload. This will involve:
">- Ensuring clinical coding targets and timeframes are met">
- Developing and monitoring coding processes to facilitate accurate and timely completion of clinical coding related activities">
- Supporting the development of clinical coding audit programs">
- Liaising with external auditors and educators">
- Providing guidance and training to the coding team">
The ideal candidate will have:
">- Minimum 5 years of full-time equivalent clinical coding experience in a tertiary or secondary hospital">
- Completed a Bachelor of Health Information Management or a clinical coding diploma with HIMAA or equivalent">
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, diseases, and/or pathological processes">
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
- Proficient computer skills using MS Office Suite">
