The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for a broad range of duties, including recruitment and onboarding, HR administration, employee relations, compliance and policy management, training and development, and health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and completing reference checks.
- Maintain and update employee records in the Human Resource Information System.
- Prepare HR reports and presentations.
- Respond to employee enquiries.
- Assist in managing employee relation issues, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work Australia regulations and other relevant employment laws.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date.
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.
- Assist in managing workplace health and safety initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with WHS regulations.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar HR role.
- Strong understanding of Australian employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HR systems.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
