The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for a broad range of duties, including recruitment and onboarding, HR administration, employee relations, compliance and policy management, training and development, and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and completing reference checks.
HR Administration
  • Maintain and update employee records in the Human Resource Information System.
  • Prepare HR reports and presentations.
  • Respond to employee enquiries.
Employee Relations
  • Assist in managing employee relation issues, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
Compliance and Policy Management
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work Australia regulations and other relevant employment laws.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date.
Training and Development
  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.
Health and Safety
  • Assist in managing workplace health and safety initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS regulations.

Requirements

  1. Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar HR role.
Skills
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HR systems.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
