An overseer/stationhand is required for Lerida Station which runs 20,000 dse's near Gunning, close to Goulburn, in NSW. The role is available now however we are open to someone starting after Christmas if that suits better

The role requires experience in the following:

- Sheep production including lamb fattening and merino wool production
- Angus cattle breeding and husbandry
- Use of machinery for cropping
- Fencing and maintenance
- Computer literacy
- Working dogs

**Job Description**:

- Drenching, mustering and handling of sheep including the use of own dogs
- Mustering, marking and handling of cattle
- Driving tractors and vehicles associated with crop and pasture production
- Organizing contractors, staff and liaising with manager on a day to day basis
- Ensuring WHS practices are maintained and monitoring a safe workplace
- Day to day record keeping for paddock, chemical and livestock

There is a very nice house included for this position and good schooling is available in the area as its close to both Goulburn and Canberra.

The salary package will be negotiated with experience - $60,000 to $75,000.
