Lead Fundraising Strategist for Not-for-Profit Aeromedical Organisation

CareFlight is an Australian aeromedical organisation renowned for its commitment to saving lives, speeding recovery, and serving the community. We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Trusts and Foundations to lead our fundraising strategy and develop relationships with trusts and foundations.
About the Role:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive trusts and foundations strategy to grow income in this area and meet annual targets.
- Write, edit, and proofread all submissions, including funding applications and reports.
- Maintain accurate records on funders, including prospect research and tracking deadlines.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify fundraising opportunities and match potential donors.
- Nurture relationships with prospective donors and collaborate with the Grants Officer to ensure high-quality funding applications are submitted on time.
- Operate within Charity Law and Data Protection legislation, adhering to the Institute of Fundraising Codes of Practice.
- Provide leadership and support to the Grants Officer and contribute to the development and delivery of the fundraising strategy.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of securing multi-year funding in a charity environment.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
- A clear understanding of outcomes measurement and budget management.
- Degree qualifications in business, marketing, or a related field.
- A good understanding of Australian trusts and foundations, preferably in a health charity setting.

- A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
