Role Summary:

  • A Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating and administering construction engineering activities to ensure timely delivery of a major renewable energy project.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Earthworks and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering qualification. Membership or eligibility for Engineers Australia membership is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate construction engineering activities
  • Manage and monitor construction performance and progress
  • Prepare progress and compliance reporting
  • Interpret designs for construction implementation and contribute to improvements to existing designs
  • Coordinate and supervise technical aspects of the project
  • Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports
  • Verify subcontractors' claims and variations
  • Manage work programs and performance of teams and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in the construction industry, with expertise in Earthworks
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and develop new business opportunities
  • Skills in process improvement and transactional activity streamlining
  • Knowledge of technical and contractual conditions, company policies and procedures
  • Strong project planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
