About the Role

The University of South Australia is seeking a highly skilled Student Reporting Officer to join our Student and Academic Services Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for the development, testing, training, and maintenance of reports and process documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Information Analyst: Data Management to provide technical support for report development and maintenance
  • Maintain user security access for the University's student information systems
  • Work closely with academic units and other central units to develop and maintain student-facing services, policy, information systems, and procedural frameworks
  • Coordinate and provide quality assurance for various University functions, including student support, admissions, enrolments, research candidature, examinations, graduations, student finance, and scholarships

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and skills
  • Demonstrated experience using SQL, enterprise reporting tools, and understanding data models
  • High-level interpersonal and oral communication skills, including customer service and negotiation ability
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills, including the ability to be innovative and creative in providing advice and generating solutions
  • High-level organisational and administrative skills
