About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Support and Services
    • Provide high-quality student service and support to students on-site and remotely.
    • Manage phone and email enquiries to ensure a strong employer and student focus is maintained.
    • Record and maintain accurate student records in our Student Management System.
  • Training and Assessment Support
    • Support trainers and students in their training programs.
    • Monitor course progress and attendance, providing intervention and counselling as needed.
  • Administrative and Organisational Tasks
    • Source venues for training and ensure all necessary arrangements are made.
    • Assist students in using our Learning Management System (LMS).
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
  • Knowledge and understanding of the VET Sector and RTO Standards.
  • Strong working experience with a Student Management System (e.g. VETtrak, aXcelerate, EnquiryMate).
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to be flexible and manage time effectively.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to providing quality in all work.
  • Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience working with an LMS.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships with all clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of RII or TLI training packages.
  • Experience with EnquiryMate, aXcelerate, or VETtrak.
  • Knowledge of Smart and Skilled and other state funding contracts.
