Warehouse Specialist Role Overview

This Warehouse Specialist position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate administration of inbound and outbound activities within the warehouse, to support business outcomes and customer satisfaction.

The role is based in our Home Delivery Centre, working closely with the Warehouse Coordinator and Warehouse/Returns Team Members.

  • Manage inventory, data, and client information related to purchase orders and receipts accurately and efficiently.
  • Process driver documentation, record, and invoice management, and assist with warehouse preparation as required.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and distribution of processes and systems, including supplier book-ins, purchase order management, store replenishment coordination, and customer collections.
  • Assist inventory team members with resolving delivery-related problems and report on supplier delivery lead times and performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update relevant systems.
  • Process and track shipments, invoices, and documents efficiently.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for smooth operations.
  • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to implementing changes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar administration function or hands-on operation role (advantageous).
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
