This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday day shift only.

About the Role

Brisbane Makeover Co. is growing, and we're on the lookout for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse & Inventory Manager to take ownership of our warehouse operations. This is a key role, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of our inventory, warehouse team, and logistics to ensure the quality and control, seamless pick up and efficient delivery of our furniture to site across Brisbane and surrounds.

You'll be leading a small but dynamic team, managing incoming and outgoing stock, coordinating deliveries to and from project sites, and maintaining accurate inventory records across multiple job locations. This role requires an eye for detail, a proactive, organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Working closely with our stylist, and operations teams, you'll play a vital role in keeping our projects on track, maintain our high standards and ensure the right pieces get to the right place, on time and in perfect condition.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

· Oversee all aspects of inventory tracking and control, including supplier coordination, stock movement, and warehousing operations.

· Manage and maintain inventory control systems, working closely with procurement, planning, stylists, warehouse, and operations teams.

· Drive cost reduction initiatives by optimising inventory value, stock turns, and storage, while reducing stock outages and increasing operational efficiency.

· Develop and implement inventory strategies aligned with business goals, including forecasting and demand planning.

· Anticipate future stock requirements and ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.

· Create and maintain a robust annual stock take procedure to ensure minimal financial variance and accurate reporting.

· Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.

· Lead and improve inventory control practices such as cycle counting, stock takes, and root cause analysis.

· Prepare and present regular inventory and operational reports to senior management, identifying risks and areas for improvement.

· Train, and mentor warehouse staff, while establishing clear performance goals and organisational processes.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration across the warehouse team.

· Oversee quality control of incoming and outgoing goods, managing maintenance, returns, and reports.

· Ensure accurate documentation is maintained.

Attributes and Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll bring a strong mix of leadership, organisation, and technical skills, along with a hands-on approach to daily warehouse operations. Ideally, you will have:

· An open vehicle licence

· Advanced Microsoft office, particularly word and excel skills.

· Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategies to optimize operations.

· Communication: Clear and effective communication

· Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving complex issues swiftly and effectively.

· Organizational Skills: Coordinating multiple activities and managing resources efficiently.

· Financial Acumen: Controlling costs.

· Analytical Skills: Analyzing data to inform decision-making and improve processes.

· Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of warehouse management with a minimum of 3 years inventory control.

· Experience in property styling businesses or from a hire industry background, but not necessary.

· Exceptional organization skills.

· Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety.

· Fitness and be able to lift and move furniture.

· An order picker licence or be willing to attain one.

· Fluent English

· Outstanding problem-solving skills.
