At Sanctuary Care, we provide in-home care for our clients to enable them to live independently with the support they need.
We are seeking a caring and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Care to deliver high-quality care and support to our wonderful clients across Coomera, QLD, on a Casual or Part-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Accompanying clients during daily activities such as running errands and outings
- Preparing meals and assisting with grocery shopping
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene tasks such as showering and dressing
- Performing household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and ironing
- Providing social interaction and companionship to our clients
- Transporting clients to appointments
About You
To succeed in this role, you will ideally possess:
- A Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification - essential
- Previous experience in aged care or disability – at least one year
- A COVID-19 Vaccination
- A Current Police Check – or willingness to obtain
- A Current First Aid Certificate including CPR – or willingness to obtain
- A reliable vehicle and relevant insurances
- A Dementia care qualification – desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus superannuation benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
