About the Role

At Sanctuary Care, we provide in-home care for our clients to enable them to live independently with the support they need.

We are seeking a caring and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Care to deliver high-quality care and support to our wonderful clients across Coomera, QLD, on a Casual or Part-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Accompanying clients during daily activities such as running errands and outings
  • Preparing meals and assisting with grocery shopping
  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene tasks such as showering and dressing
  • Performing household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and ironing
  • Providing social interaction and companionship to our clients
  • Transporting clients to appointments

About You

To succeed in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • A Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification - essential
  • Previous experience in aged care or disability – at least one year
  • A COVID-19 Vaccination
  • A Current Police Check – or willingness to obtain
  • A Current First Aid Certificate including CPR – or willingness to obtain
  • A reliable vehicle and relevant insurances
  • A Dementia care qualification – desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus superannuation benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
