Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Support Worker to join our team at Mounties Group, providing support for our clients across Coomera, QLD. This role is perfect for a caring individual who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Sanctuary Care, providing in-home care services that enable clients to live independently with minimal assistance. As a Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for accompanying clients on daily activities, running errands, and going on outings, as well as performing household tasks and providing social interaction and companionship.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accompany clients during daily activities, such as grocery shopping and appointments
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, including showering and dressing
  • Prepare meals and assist with food shopping
  • Perform household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Provide social interaction and companionship to clients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification
  • At least one year of experience in aged care or disability
  • A current Police Check and First Aid certification
  • A reliable vehicle and relevant insurances
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
