Dreamworld is a leader in wildlife conservation, with a unique opportunity for an experienced wildlife professional to join our team as a Tiger Sanctuary Manager.
As a key member of our Ardent Leisure Group team, you will be responsible for the daily care and management of our majestic tigers on Tiger Island. Your role will include:
- Developing and implementing enrichment programs to promote animal welfare and stimulate natural behavior.
- Maintaining the highest standards of animal husbandry, including feeding, veterinary care, and enclosure maintenance.
- Providing educational presentations and interactions with guests about tiger conservation and our efforts to protect these incredible creatures.
- Collaborating with our Wildlife team to ensure seamless operations and achieve our conservation goals.
To succeed in this challenging and rewarding role, you should have:
- A degree in zoological sciences or a related field, with extensive experience working with native, exotic, or non-domestic animals.
- Proven expertise in animal training and behavioral enrichment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests confidently and professionally.
- A strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and animal welfare.
This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary of AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus access to an array of benefits, including free entry to Dreamworld, WhiteWater World, and SkyPoint attractions.
