About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our Upper Coomera team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology, and emergency care. You will also perform minor procedures under veterinary guidance when required, maintain the overall hygiene of the practice, and handle reception duties such as scheduling appointments and managing client accounts.
Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 2+ years of clinical experience
- An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- Excellent animal handling skills
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team environment
- Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
