The Foster Care Relationship Builder position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with prospective foster carers, ensuring they have a positive experience throughout the application and assessment process.

This involves providing relevant information, guidance, and support to foster care applicants during enquiry and screening stages. It also entails analysing enquiry rates and successful carer applications related to local recruitment and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with prospective foster carers in a timely manner, addressing their enquiries and concerns in a professional and supportive way.
  • Provide detailed information about the foster care application and assessment process, including the requirements and expectations for potential carers.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions with foster care applicants, tracking progress through the application and assessment stages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless experience for foster care applicants, from initial enquiry to placement approval.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve enquiry rates and increase successful carer applications, working closely with local care teams and other stakeholders.
  • Present screened carer applicants to the relevant carer assessor, supporting their relationship development and fostering strong connections between carers and children.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds and ages. You should be proactive, organised, and able to work well under pressure, prioritising multiple tasks and deadlines.
