The Residential Life Coordinator plays a pivotal role in cultivating and sustaining a positive residential life environment within a student accommodation setting.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a key player in building strong relationships with residents, fostering a sense of community, and promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the Residential Life and Wellbeing Program, working closely with the Residential Life Manager to achieve this goal.
Additionally, the Residential Life Coordinator will be required to monitor and support the wellbeing of residents, providing assistance when needed, and ensuring that all residents feel safe and supported.
In the event of any incidents or issues arising, the Residential Life Coordinator will play an active role in the incident response and management team, maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all necessary actions are taken.
- Assist the Residential Life Manager in creating, delivering, and evaluating the Residential Life and Wellbeing Program.
- Provide on-call after-hours assistance as the primary contact for residents in relation to all situations that may arise.
- Monitor and support the wellbeing of residents, providing aid when problems arise.
- Play an active role in the incident response and management team during shift times and after-hours, and maintain incident records.
- A background in reception or hospitality will provide a solid foundation for this role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues alike.
- High levels of computer literacy, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to work under pressure, think critically, and make sound judgments.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
- National Police Check (completed within the last 3 months), at your own cost.
- Working with Children's Check (NSW).
