Nurse Wound Management Specialist

As a seasoned healthcare professional, you will play a pivotal role in delivering best practice wound management care, education, and training to develop skills and knowledge within the nursing team. Your expertise will be instrumental in specialist wound care, respiratory review care, immunisation administration, infection control, and other relevant nursing areas within the Community Primary Care urban context.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive wound management care and educate colleagues on best practices.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance skills in specialist wound care, respiratory review care, immunisation administration, and infection control.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated direct and indirect clinical care for complex client presentations.
- Support and mentor less experienced nursing and midwifery staff.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia is mandatory.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the role are essential.
