Advanced Wound Management Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled nurse to provide high-quality wound management care, education and training in our multidisciplinary team.
About the RoleThis is a key position within our team where you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to clients. You will be responsible for providing best practice wound management, education and training to develop appropriate skills and knowledge within the nursing team.
Main Responsibilities- Wound Management: Provide specialist wound care to clients, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans.
- Education and Training: Develop and deliver education programs to improve the skills and knowledge of nursing staff in specialist wound care, respiratory review care, immunisation administration and infection control.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate direct and indirect clinical care for complex client presentations.
- Mentorship and Support: Provide guidance and support to less experienced nursing and midwifery staff to enhance their professional development.
- Registration: Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Clinical Knowledge and Skills: Developed clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the role, including experience in wound management, education and training.
