Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Clinical Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in Alice Springs. This role offers the opportunity to provide best practice wound management care, education, and training to develop appropriate skills and knowledge within the nursing team.

In this position, you will work collaboratively with less experienced nursing and midwifery staff to deliver high-quality patient care and support. You will also have the opportunity to participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Provide wound management care and education to the nursing team.
  • Deliver training and education programs to develop skills in specialist wound care, respiratory review care, immunisation administration, and infection control.
  • Support collaborative direct and indirect clinical care for complex client presentations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Developed clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
