Job Opportunity

The primary role of the Service Quote Writer is to finalize and coordinate Toyota Material Handling equipment repair quotes. This position assists Area Service Representatives by providing timely and accurate quotes to customers for tyre and wheel replacements, rental returns, and de-hire customer damage repairs.

This involves close collaboration with technicians to identify necessary parts, sublets, and labour required for repairs. It also requires working with internal departments, suppliers, contractors, and Account Managers to ensure accurate pricing is applied to quotes.

The successful candidate will have a trade or mechanical background with field or workshop experience, as well as solid experience in the spare parts department and knowledge of the Toyota Material Handling system.

Responsibilities:
  • Finalize and coordinate Toyota Material Handling equipment repair quotes.
  • Provide timely and accurate quotes to customers for tyre and wheel replacements, rental returns, and de-hire customer damage repairs.
  • Liaise with technicians to identify necessary parts, sublets, and labour required for repairs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, contractors, and Account Managers to ensure accurate pricing.
Requirements:
  • Trade or mechanical background with field or workshop experience.
  • Solid experience in the spare parts department and knowledge of the Toyota Material Handling system.
  • Experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems.
  • Proven experience in liaising and negotiating with all levels of management, internal and external customers.
