Equipment Services Coordinator - Trucks and Trailers - Sydney

Location: Sydney

TR Group is an experienced provider of heavy commercial truck and trailer hire and lease services. We offer a wide range of vehicles to suit most applications for both short and long-term rentals and leases, along with used vehicle sales.

The role is a vital part of our operational team, working Monday to Friday, between 7am and 5pm.

This position plays a key role in ensuring our equipment is well-maintained and presented to a high standard. It is suitable for someone with a background in the transport industry, ideally with experience in driving and/or maintaining heavy vehicles, who is comfortable working hands-on around trucks and trailers.

Typical daily tasks include:

  • Washing and detailing vehicles to ensure they look their best and are ready for hire.
  • Performing light maintenance and reporting repairs (e.g., light bulbs, mudflaps).
  • Operating HR / MC licensed vehicles such as trucks or tugs for moving vehicles around the yard, and transporting equipment between sites or branches.
  • Greeting customers upon vehicle pickup and drop-off, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Communicating with the Rental Operations team regarding vehicle status and requirements to ensure safety, presentation, and maintenance standards are met throughout the vehicle's lifespan.
